Every year, there is a t-shirt. In order to estimated the correct amounts and sizes, they need to be pre-ordered. We are a band and we want to play at the AC/DC fan meeting - what do we need to do?
-
How the bands are chosen?
Three bands on two days and only AC/DC: The organisation team pays attention to the playlists of the bands: as few song repetitions as possible, a program from the Bon Scott era, a program from the Brian Johnson era and besides the standard songs, also special songs, just like some which where never or rarely played by the original. This means the bands should be fine with rehearsing new songs, or waive songs, they have on their playlist usually, to provide variety. As it is an international fan meeting, we try to get bands or at least some musicians from foreign countries. Showelements, ountfits and instruments can be close to the original, but do not need to. The important thing is audience and band enjoing each other. No perfection is demanded from the band, but still, one should be skilled in one's trade. Bands which proved their entertainment are likely being booked another time, as we try to get at least one band every fan meeting, which already thrilled the audience.
