FOREVER AC/DC: FAN-BOOK BY ERIC MISTLER

Eric Mistler will be at the International AC/DC Fan Convention in Celle, searching for the most passionate AC/DC fans for his current book project.

What's it all about? Their names are Marc, Mike, Oksana, Hugo, Nanie, and Christopher. They are die-hard fans, passionate people who have attended more than 150 concerts by their favorite band AC/DC, traveled thousands of miles to special conventions, collected bootleg records and memorabilia, drawn the band in comics, and even erected statues in their honor.

Eric Mistler, photographer and filmmaker, co-director of the legendary 1980 film “Let There Be Rock,” which is dedicated to the band, and Alain Gardinier, author of articles and books on contemporary music, have sought out, tracked down, photographed, and interviewed these fans worldwide. With these diverse portraits, “Forever AC/DC” offers a very personal and amusing look at this community, which is more alive than ever 50 years after the birth of this legendary band.

Eric Mistler, the photographer and filmmaker, says: “With Let There Be Rock, perhaps the most authentic rock film ever made, I helped shape the story of AC/DC, and the band has been part of my life for 45 years.”
Throughout all these years, passion has been the common thread in my encounters with fans – whether wild, loving, funny, or unexpected. This book brings together 40 stories from fans around the world.

The book: 40 portraits on 128 pages, hardcover in vinyl 33 rpm format. Size: 33 x 33 cm. It fits perfectly into the fans' record collection.
