In addition to well-known international tribute bands and a varied AC/DC supporting program, there is a very special treat this year: With Simon Wright, fans can welcome a former AC/DC band member this year. Wright was drummer for AC/DC in the 1980s.

Three bands, two days, one passion - that is the motto again this year when the global AC/DC fan crowd makes the pilgrimage to Celle and celebrates their favorite band on Friday, September 19th and Saturday, September 20th.

When the fans have gathered at the CD-Kaserne on Friday evening, the Musikzug Groß Hehlen will once again traditionally open the meeting with brass music - they will definitely have an AC/DC piece in their repertoire again in 2025.

AC/DC UK will unleash a storm of sound from over 50 years of AC/DC band history live in the hall on Friday evening. The Brits were guests at the International AC/DC Fan Meeting in 2017 and will be putting on the full AC/DC show program with cannons, a hell bell and an oversized "Rosie".

LIVE WIRE from the USA were there two years ago at the fan meeting premiere in Celle with enthusiasm that was noticeably spilling over into the audience. This year they are celebrating their proud 25th anniversary as a band - an ideal reason to bring the likeable group from overseas back to Celle to shake up the hall on the fan meeting Saturday.

BON THE AC/DC SHOW from Berlin have also been on stage for an impressive twenty years and in 2025 they are "old hands" with their fourth appearance at the International AC/DC Fan Meeting. BON THE AC/DC SHOW will present an explosive mix of hits and rarities from AC/DC's Bon Scott era from 1974 to 1980 at the end of the live program on Saturday.

Special guest Simon Wright, ex-AC/DC band member and drummer between 1983 and 1989, will of course give this year's fan meeting a very special touch: When do you ever have a "real AC/DC" as a guest? He will sit down at the drums for a few songs on both Friday evening at AC/DC UK and on Saturday at LIVE WIRE.
Simon played the drums on the three albums "Fly On The Wall", "Who Made Who" and "Blow Up Your Video". After his time with AC/DC, he was responsible for the real "oomph" on the drums for UFO and Dio, among others.
On Saturday afternoon, Simon will be available for photos and autographs.

The big AC/DC collectors' fair will also take place then - there will also be a tombola, AC/DC live body painting with Gesine Marwedel and tattoo artist K-Rina from Celle will be present on both days of the fan meeting and will impress fans with their love for the band.

Aftershock Merchandising will be there again on both days and will have a large selection of AC/DC merchandising items on offer. Pre-ordered fan meeting T-shirts can be picked up there.
