Program 2024

HIGH VOLTAGE (B) (Friday)

On Friday evening, HIGH VOLTAGE from Belgium will kick off the AC/DC fan weekend: "old acquaintances" for those who have been fan meeting guests for a while: in 2011, they impressively demonstrated that they are much more than "just a tribute band". 13 years later, it's time to finally experience them again.
High Voltage will give the CD-Kaserne a sound storm from 50 years of AC/DC - including "Big Show" with Hells Bell, pyros and the thunder of cannons.

The band has played more than 1,800 concerts since its founding in 1992 and has even played in China. Since 2017, High Voltage have also been appearing on the “Legends of Rock Tribute Tour”.

POWERAGE UK (UK) (Saturday, 1. band)

During the 2022 lockdown, a new formation was formed in the Wirral district of England - not far from Liverpool - out of pure AC/DC passion: lead guitarist Calum McKinney (22 years old) and rhythm guitarist Jack White (19) founded Powerage UK. The band quickly attracted attention with almost weekly performances - always with the goal of creating the most authentic Bon Scott era show in mind.

Ken McKinney (vocals), Steve McKinney (drums) and Matty Morgan (bass) complete the ensemble, which has already impressed with electrifying performances at three "Highway to Hellfests" in Crumlin, Blackpool and Glasgow.

There they caught the eye of Jürgen from the AC/DC Fan Meeting organization team, and it quickly became clear: These guys have to come to Celle!
By the way, Powerage UK will be headlining the main stage on Friday evening at Bonfest 2024 in Kirriemuir, Scotland. They will reach the next significant milestone in the band's history with their first appearance outside the UK at the International AC/DC Fan Meeting at the CD-Kaserne in Celle on Saturday, September 28th, 2024.

T.N.T. AC/DC Tribute Band (F) (Saturday, 2. band)

For the first time in fan meeting history we can welcome a band from France this year: TNT AC /DC Tribute Band from Bayonne on the French Atlantic coast will be the second act on Saturday evening, February 28th, to live up to their name and fire a lot of explosives out of the speakers. The band - all long-standing AC/DC fans - was originally founded in the 1990s. After a break in between, they got back together again in 2009 and have been serving up a good portion of high voltage rock'n'roll in their shows ever since: So let's look forward to a taste of "French cuisine" - C'est bon!

TNT AC/DC Tribute Band: Bienvenue à Celle - c'est notre plaisir!
